Players control a young boy named Olle who attempts to rescue his kidnapped sister Lillemor from mythological creatures. Available on PC, Steam, Nintendo Switch, Playstation 5, Windows, Xbox Series S/X. In the 2023 video game Bramble: The Mountain King, the Näcken is one of the many bosses the player must face. He was once a human who played the Violin but went mad after ridicule and abuse from his village. In the game, he lives in a pond and lures people to their deaths with his music. In this short, you play as Olle who is looking for his sister Lillemor. Coming across a lake you are greeted by The Näcken from the Nordic tales. After seeing a series of trolls who have turned to stone you make your way through the lilypad river to try and get to the other side. But that's when the Näcken strikes and rises from the water. Using their arms to try and hit you, Olle jumps from lilypad to lily pad and has to make their way through the mud as the Nacker crawls after them. It's then he jumps down a running river and off a waterfall to try and escape his death. But at the last moment, the nacked grabs him and the scene fades to white. Does Olle survive?
