Colorado BDR-Sections 6, 5, & 4

This was a dream trip of mine that got cut short by a vehicle malfunction, but I did get some amazing footage. I completed Sections 6, 5, and 4 of the Colorado BDR. I will definitely be back to complete the rest. This trip took me over several pass, like Hagerman's Pass and Weston Pass. They were both over 11, 000 feet with Weston almost topping out at 12,000 feet. This was an incredible run that tested my endurance. I visited some amazing places and at one point thought I was going to get stuck on top of Hagerman Pass. It was really nice, then all of a sudden it started raining and hailing so bad, it started to turn the mountaintop white from so much hail. It was a little scary, but it finally stopped and melted quickly. My trip ended in Buena Vista when a part on my truck broke and I had to spend most of the day trying to get it fixed. After losing a day, I thought it was best to just come on back home and leave the remaining sections for another time. Colorado is so beautiful. I was so mesmerized by all the scenery. Being in nature is my healing process. The get away from it all the recuperate from all the chaos in this world.
