Kodo Millet is easy to digest, it is rich in antioxidants, good source of vitamin B6, folic acid and minerals such as calcium, iron. Ingredients: Kodo millet - 2 cups Beans - 6 Chopped Carrot - 2 Chopped Green peas - 1/2 Cup Potato - 1 Chopped Salt to taste Ghee/Clarified butter - 1 tbsp Lemon juice - 1 tbsp Coriander leaves - 1 Cup Mint leaves - 1/2 Cup Green chillies - 3 Ginger - 1/2 inch Garlic clove - 1 Onion - 1 Roughly chopped Bay leaf - 1 Cardamom - 2 Cinnamon - 1 inch Cloves - 4 Garam masala - 1tsp Oil - 1 tbsp Water as required Method : Soak Kodo millet - 15 minutes , In a blender add coriander leaves,mint leaves, onion ,garlic,ginger,green chillies,cloves,cinnamon,cardamom,garam masala,water - 3 tbsp , Blend to smooth paste . Heat pressure cooker on medium flame , add ghee,oil,bay leaf , masala paste saute for 30 seconds , water - 4 cups , green peas , beans , potato , carrot , soaked kodo millet , salt , lemon juice , mix and bring to a boil ,cover the pressure cooker with lid and cook for 2 whistles , when pressure goes down open and mix gently and serve hot .
