Our trip to the Blue Mountains, just outside Sydney, was amazing from start to finish. Mary and I drove via Putty Road up to Medlow Bath near Katoomba to visit my daughter, Rebecca. Together we explored the wonders of the area. First we checked out Hazelbrook. Then Mary and I hiked the many beautiful trails that weave through the cliffs, waterfalls and forests that make up the Blue Mountains World Heritage area. We were awe-inspired by the sheer magnitude of the landscape. This place rivals anything in the world for biodiversity. It is the pinnacle of nature's achievements. The Nissan Patrol blew a water pump, so we ended up staying for an extra week while it was being repaired. We were glad for the extra time in the Mountains. Spending hours exploring the bush, canyons and cliffs was an absolute delight. We enjoyed an invigorating swim at the Minnehaha Falls. The water was very cold, but the place was too beautiful to resist. When we weren't hiking, we were enjoying delicious vegan food in welcoming cafés, pubs and restaurants. If you only visit one place in NSW, visit the Blue Mountains. Keep Zagging Joe and Mary
