Fallout: Echos of the Wasteland - Award Winning Fan Film 2026 - Feature Length Fallout Movie

THIS IS A NON PROFIT FAN MADE PROJECT. Viewer Discretion Advised: The following content contains mature themes, including staged violence and strong language, that may not be suitable for all audiences. WINNER of Best Feature Film Wasteland Jamboree 2026 & Best Fan Film Unbuttered Awards “An act of love to the community. Awesome fight and stunt choreography. Excellent work. Team Bobby Apartment approved!” - Rafi Silver "Love to see games inspiring creative efforts like this, the passion and sincerity comes through. the fact you all did that on zero budget and in your free time is really impressive." - Chris Avellone “They worked miracles with zero budget & no crowd funding. By fans, for fans. It’s a love letter to the wasteland” - Wes Johnson Best viewed streamed directly from this source. Casting may result in lower resolution and poor streaming quality. This fan film was made with a zero dollar budget. There was no crowd funding or lent/given props or costumes. The majority of props/costumes were from personal collections. Additional out of pocket spending was used to cover travel, locations and miscellaneous things. But there was never any official funding or large scale budget to make this project and what we did spend was rather low. It's always amazing to see these large scale crowd funded studio “fan-films”. Where they have the best of the best Hollywood professionals working on them. They have made incredible projects year after year and will continue to do so. We believe the true nature and lost art of what a fan-film is supposed to be, is amateurs and professionals wearing multiple hats and scraping together whatever they can to tell a story they are passionate about.  By every definition this is a low budget fan film. There are dozens of scenes where we ourselves are going from directing to shooting to acting in the same scene. This project was full of ups and downs. Being here at the finish line doesn’t even seem real.  We hope you enjoy our story, if you do please consider a like, comment and share to family or friends. We have much more of this universe we would love to explore should there be a demand and funding to make that happen. Pre- started in fall of 2024 as Andrew/Bobby planned the ambitious project together. (We planned and shot “going to Colorado” way before S2’s ending reveal) Production- started in March of 2025 where we filmed for a week in North Carolina and as planned production didn't pick up again until we shot the 2nd half in November 2025 for another week in Texas. Aside from those weeks a few extra days for extra pick up shots were used. In total the entire production was roughly 13 days.  Post- Andrew/Bobby were the entire post production team aside from some additional help with sound, music and vfx. The majority of all editing/sound/vfx was done between the two of us. Problems  It seemed everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. To summerize without being on a soap box too long we had major props creators bail, shooting locations close down days before shooting, five camera operators bail, important props getting lost in the mail, dead pixel on certain scenes that was of course noticed after wrapping, original sound mixer's studio was destoryed, locations last minute rescheduling. (all of these things happening after flights were booked too no easy pivots). These things almost made us throw in the towel many times. Again, we are sharing this information to let the general audience understand some of the obstacles we encountered, not for sympathy.
