Prediabetes is a serious health condition that affects more than 1 in 3 American adults and can lead to type 2 diabetes. Of those with prediabetes, 81 percent don’t know they have it. To help those with prediabetes know where they stand and prevent or delay type 2 diabetes, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has partnered with the Ad Council for a national PSA campaign about prediabetes. The PSAs encourage viewers to learn more at DoIHavePrediabetes.org, take action to change their outcome, and be their own hero.
