SUBSCRIBE to my Channel here - http://bit.ly/SubscribeToAnanyarannaghor Facebook:   / ananyabanerjeeframes   Twitter:   / artyananya   Instagram:   / ananyaban   Facebook :   / indiafoodnetwork   Twitter :   / ifn   Instagram :   / indiafoodnetwork   Ingredients: • Basmati Rice/Gobindobhog Rice – 1 ½ cup, soaked for 30 minutes in water • 4 tablespoon Ghee • 1/2 cup Cashew & Raisins - roughly chopped • 1 Cinnamon stick • 3-4 Green Cardamom pods • 4-5 Cloves • 1 Bay leaf • 2 cups Vegetables, chopped - like Carrot, Green Peas, Beans (optional) • 3-4 tablespoons Sugar • Salt to taste Method: 1.Take a large sauce-pan and boil 5 cups water in it. When the water will start boiling, add the rice and cooked till 80% rice is cooked. Strain the rice and spread onto on a large serving tray. 2. Now heat the ghee in a large pan, add the chopped Cashew & Raisins and fry for few seconds and take them out of the pan. In the same pan add the cinnamon, cloves, cardamom pods & bay leaf and fry till the fragrance comes from the whole spices. 3. When the aroma will come add the chopped vegetables to the pan, add some salt and fry till the vegetables become tender. 4. When they are tender and soft add enough, fried cashew, fried raisins, salt & sugar and mix with the cooked veggies. 5. Now add the cooked rice and gently mix with the veggies, the cooked rice should not be broken. Check if any salt & sugar is required. 6. Pour into a large serving bowl and serve hot.
