Sham Chaurasi Gharana is a Gharana (a family's style of singing) in Hindustani classical music known for the singing of vocal duets. It is also known as the cradle of dhrupad. It is one of the four singing gharanas of Punjab; the other three are Patiala, Talwandi, and Kapurthala. It is most notably represented in modern times by the brother's Ustad Nazakat Ali Khan and Ustad Salamat Ali khan. Ustad Imtiaz ali khan Ustad Imtiaz Ali khan was born in 1951 in Punjab, Pakistan. He has a prestigious Singing Gharana- Sham chaurasia. He has been learning music since he was 5 years old, by his uncle Ustad Salamat Ali Khan and his elder uncle Ustad Shami Hussain. Ustad Imtiaz Ali Khan and Riaz Ali Khan both brothers use to sing together. They gained great appreciation around the world for melodious raags and has the prestige to perform a concert in all over the world. Concerts in India, United Kingdom, China, and many more gained lots of appreciation by the greatest singers like Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan. Ustad Imtiaz ali Khan and Ustad Riaz ali Khan are the sons of Dilawar Hussain Shami. He has won many awards in Musical conferences around the world for his extremly great classical talent Ustad Shahzad Ali Khan Ustad 'Shahzad Ali Khan' was born in Lahore, Pakistan and comes from the famous Shamchaurasi Gharana, a well-known Gharana of legendary Sufi singers with the likes of Ustad Salamat Ali Khan, Ustad Nazakat Ali Khan, Ustad Zakir Ali Khan, Ustad Akhtar Ali Khan, Ustad Niaz Hussain Shami, Ustad Imtiaz Ali Khan, and Ustad Riaz Ali Khan. His father Ustad Imtiaz Ali Khan taught him several musical genres and singing styles of the Indian classical tradition like khayal, thumri, Kafi, ghazal, and Sufi.
