Learning objective 1. Describe the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties of antibiotics used for CDI. Learning objective 2: Identify risk factors for the development of new-onset and recurrent CDI. Learning objective 3: Assess clinical presentation and diagnostic laboratory findings to determine if a patient has CDI. Learning objective 4. Given a patient with new-onset or recurrent CDI, recommend IDSA guideline-concordant treatment.
