Netherlands coach Frank de Boer felt that his team should be proud after they beat Ukraine 3-2 on Sunday, despite squandering a two-goal lead in their first game of Euro 2020. The 'Oranje', who are playing in their first major international tournament since the 2014 World Cup, looked in full control following second half strikes from captain Georginio Wijnaldum and Wout Weghorst. Ukraine captain Andriy Yarmolenko pulled a goal back in the 75th minute with a brilliant curling shot past Netherlands goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg though and Roman Yaremchuk levelled the score four minutes later, heading in a free kick. However, man of the match Denzel Dumfries put the Netherlands back in front with a header of his own in the 85th minute and de Boer's side held on for a full three points.
