Leading Conservative Paper Rips Trump For Being Pathetic Candidate

Donald Trump just can't seem to catch a break. As he continues to lose support from right wing social media figures, he can now count out support from the conservative Washington Times newspaper. In scathing op-ed this week, a conservative columnist ripped into Trump for being a pathetic candidate that is hemorrhaging support all over the place. There may not be enough people left to even get him through a primary at this point, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains. Link - https://www.rawstory.com/another-top-... Conservatives and conservative media outlets have, uh, been very cool to Donald Trump's third presidential run. And I don't mean cool in the sense of like, ah, cool, I mean, they're not warm to it. And this week another conservative outlet finally came out and told Donald Trump, buddy, it's time to hang it up because it just ain't happening for you. And that conservative outlet happens to be the Washington Times. This week, Colin, Ms. Joseph curl writing for the Washington Times Curl, by the way, also writes for the Daily Wire. Had this to say, the headline of the article was, sorry, Donald Republicans just don't want you in 2024. And this is what he said. Since he entered the race, Mr. Trump has acted like a candidate who really does not want the job. Think former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, Mr. Trump dined with the rapper, yay. Formerly Kanye West, who later went on a lengthy anti-Semitic rant and white supremacist Nick Fuentez at Mar-a-Lago. He called for the suspension of the constitution and he lost several legal maneuvers over his possession of allegedly classified documents. Mr. Trump's star has been falling ever since. His handpicked candidates and swing states lost in the midterms. Just two of his 14 candidates won, and now his major donors in 2016 are running away. That's a huge problem for a self-declared billionaire who doesn't like to spend his own money. Again, it's early, way early, but when 61% of your own party doesn't want you to run well, you don't run. Mr. Trump's ego is way too big to bow out gracefully. So look for him to bow out disgracefully. Does he know any other way? Um, agree a hundred percent, right? I'm not gonna argue any of those points because they're all 100% correct. Trump hasn't done anything. He is acting like he doesn't care. Like he doesn't really want to do it. The only thing he's done since announcing was announce his stupid little N f t trading cards. He hasn't held a single rally. He's barely even done any interviews. Like he genuinely seems like he doesn't care. Yeah, the Kanye West stuff, the Nick Fuentes stuff that is also terrible calls to suspend the Constitution. He actually called to terminate it. Not suspend it though, um, that's pretty dang bad. But the poll numbers you cite are also probably what Trump needs to be looking at now. And he is looking at 'em, he's just lashing out and he said they're, they're somehow communist, communist polls, whatever that means. But things are getting bad for him. And each week, hilariously enough, they're getting worse for him. Like it's not just that things are getting bad, it's that things continue to get worse, right? Everybody has setbacks, everybody has bad things Happen, but usually, okay, one or two bad things. We, we, we, we deal with it, we confront it, we move along with Trump. Uhuh, you can't even deal with the bad things you're going through because the next day there's more bad things and it all piles up and it's taking a toll on the Republican base. They don't want him, they don't want him. And as I always say, when we see more of these individuals, right, like Mitch McConnell, Mitch McConnell has come out, attacked Donald Trump multiple times in the last three weeks. Other Republicans are doing the same.
