They cannot claim credit for entering into a shopping mall and just blindly shooting at the civilians. On the day after the attack, much of the city had returned to normal, with streets filled with both cars and people. The scene was different at this charred out shopping center. Monday militants stormed in here to begin their attack and the facility burned to the ground. Tuesday shopkeepers were busy picking through the ashes looking for anything they could salvage. Meantime, out the streets residents were giving the government their full backing, but still were demanding more security.
