How to plan normal delivery in women with dizziness, tachycardia and weakness? - Dr. Sangeeta Gomes

The pregnant woman along with obstetrician and the general physician should look for conditions and check whether she is fit for normal delivery , rule out cardiac problems, respiratory problems, anemia, viral infections, infections like malaria, dengue, typhoid, chikungunya, gastroenteritis, liver disorders, renal disorders, neurological conditions like dis compression, disk prolapse. If the physician rules out all the conditions and gives her fires for normal delivery, then when she is in labour, she should be well hydrated by giving her IV fluids and oral fluids. Epidural analgesia can be used for a painless delivery, you can cut short the second stage of labor by using a forceps or a vaccum. After delivery, keep her in the recovery room with blood pressure, pulse and oxygen saturation monitoring over a period of 1 to 2 hours with adequate hydration. Shift her to her room only when her condition is okay.
