Partygate: PM apologises to parliament for breaking lockdown rules

Boris Johnson has faced parliament for the first time since he was fined for breaking coronavirus lockdown rules. In the statement he said: "I paid the fine immediately and offered the British people a full apology. "I repeat my wholehearted apology to the House." He went on to say that he knew many were angry and that they "expect better from their prime minister". He was then keen to move matters onto the situation in Ukraine.
