IMF chief vows to fight sex assault charges

IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn is to face charges in a New York court Monday of trying to rape a hotel chambermaid as lawyers back in France threatened to file another sex assault complaint. The charges could be disastrous for Strauss-Kahn's political career as he had been widely tipped to run as the Socialist candidate in France's presidential election next year.
