If you missed the event, if you watched the live stream but want to catch up on the highlights, or if you just want to know which games are coming in strong in 2026 and 2027, here's a recap with context, release dates, and why each announcement matters. We kick things off with Resident Evil Requiem (Resident Evil 9), covering what we saw of Leon Kennedy and the dual gameplay approach: action-oriented sections alongside more classic survival horror. We also discussed Pragmata and its return with new features (including the PC demo), and the announcement that sent strategy fans into a frenzy with Total War: Warhammer 40K. In addition, Larian: Divinity is back (yes, the creators of Baldur's Gate 3), and the trailer clearly demonstrated the project's dark tone and ambition. In Star Wars, we reviewed Fate of the Old Republic, presented as the spiritual successor to KOTOR, and the strange but interesting twist of Star Wars Galactic Racer. From there, we moved on to two Tomb Raider games: Legacy of Atlantis (a remake in Unreal Engine 5 of the 1996 classic) and Tomb Raider Catalyst, with its more modern approach. Also included in the mix are Exodus (Mass Effect vibes), No Law (a first-person cyber noir), Orbitals (a co-op game that looks amazing and sounds like a perfect candidate for Switch 2), Phantom Blade Zero, Highguard, and the one I personally was most excited about: Remedy's Control Resonant, with Dylan, the Hiss, and a change of focus worth discussing.
