South Park: The Fractured but Whole is a role-playing video game developed and published by Ubisoft, in collaboration with South Park Digital Studios. The sequel to South Park: The Stick of Truth, it is based on the American adult animated television series South Park and written by series creator Trey Parker. South Park: The Fractured but Whole features ten superhero classes: Brutalist, Blaster, Speedster, Elementalist, Gadgeteer, Plantmancer, Cyborg, Psychic, Assassin, and Martial Artist. Unlike The Stick of Truth, the game allows the player to choose their gender of their character which will affect how other characters react to the player. The Fractured but Whole also features race customization, which is jokingly labeled as a difficulty level slider. The slider doesn't affect combat difficulty, rather how the player talks to other characters and the amount of money the player receives. The game starts where The Stick of Truth left off. The New Kid enters into an intense fight, and goes to protect his friends. After the fight is over, Cartman suddenly appears dressed as the Coon, saying he travelled back in time to try and fix the future (really just stepping into a closet and entering the fight dressed), and everyone switches to playing superheroes. After getting the New Kid into a hero persona, and giving him a mundane backstory, Cartman reveals his goal of finding a lost cat to gain the cash reward.
