He was an exceptional Islamic scholar and an alive encyclopedia of Islamic knowledge, who wrote more than two hundred books on Tafseer, Hadith, Fiqh, Usul, Sarf, Nahve, History, Mantiq, Philosophy, Astronomy etc. He died on 19th October 1998 in Lahore Pakistan and when he was buried, a perfumed smell started from his grave and this smell continued for several months.
