10/03/2016 EDIT: I made a VIP of this song, wich is 1000 times better, you should listen to it instead of this crappy version: • [150BPM] Mevdik & ATLANTIK - Furever VIP Super fun collab with ATLANTIK, 150 BPM. Some trivia about "Furever": -This track took us less than a week to produce. Most of the time spent on the making of the song was dedicated to make the kick sound cool, it was worth it. -I wrote the melody without any knowledge about music theory or how scales work, I just put note after note and went for what sounded good and happy. -We made it one-drop-only because we had no ideas for a new melody, so if it was going to have two drops, they would have been the same, so we decided to keep it short to avoid annoying repetition. -We came up with the name "Furever" a day before the song was released, the "codename" we had for the song was "Happy Happy Joy Joy", we chose "Furever" because it sounded cheesey as fuck and that is what we were going for. -We didn't plan to make this song at all, one day we were like "Yo, letz make a hurdztile trak that soundz happe", and that very day we started this thing. -The sound design was ispired by old happy hardcore songs like "Frisco - Sea of Love (Hixxy Remix)" and "Matduke - The Technician", we wanted "Furever" to have that "full" kind of feel, where it feels like not even a hi hat or a smal bleep fits there because all the frequencies are saturated to the max, from sub bass to white noise. -I made the "cover art" in photoshop, working with only 128x128 resolution to get that pixel art kind of feel. I also made the ATLANTIK design the same way. Listen on Soundcloud: / furever. . Download (Mediafire): http://www.mediafire.com/listen/4arc4...
