Pink Floyd - Breathe (50th Anniversary Animation Competition Entry)

Here is my entry for the animation contest organized by Pink Floyd! It has been an absolutely incredible journey building this from the ground up, my first ever project of the sort! I feel blessed to partake in this, I can still remember my childhood self being in awe of Pink Floyd's animated music videos and I could only dream back then of being able to make such beautiful creations. My artistic journey started very early on partly thanks to those inspiring works. I couldn't have animated on a better song, Breathe speaks directly to my heart and I hope I am able to share in you through my entry the feeling of peace and brightness this song awakens in me. Information about the competition: The 50th Anniversary release of the iconic album will continue to be celebrated as Pink Floyd invite a new generation of animators to enter a competition, curated by Aubrey ‘Po’ Powell of Hipgnosis, to create music videos for any of the 10 songs on the iconic 1973 album. Pink Floyd have a rich history of collaborating with animators from the beginnings of the band (Ian Emes, Gerald Scarfe, etc.), and in some cases the visuals that accompany the songs have become synonymous with the music itself. The band would like to give all animators an opportunity to present a fresh take on these timeless aural works. I truly hope you enjoy this. There was a lot of love put into this animation.
