2025 AHA/ACC High Blood Pressure Guidelines for Rural Implementation

The event included a wide discussion of blood pressure thresholds for diagnosis and treatment of high blood pressure, cardiovascular and cognitive risks of uncontrolled high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease risk calculation as part of diagnostic and treatment approaches, recommended medication classes in combination pill form to improve control and adherence, and benefits of out of office blood pressure measurements.
