My friend Mike GaoBest filmed video footage of of most of their set, which can be viewed here: • Madeline Goldstein - 10/8/2023 DNA Lounge,... ...which I'll be improving / completing that at some point. Seeing Sequential Circuits gear right away caught my eye, we were treated to a heady mix of synths / sequenced beats sampled with an Emulator 2 (there's a vid by the Inhalt guy on YouTube you should hunt out) along with Margot's intoxicating and bewitching flanged and phased filigree of liquid metallic six string bliss from her Gibson ES here (when I saw her at the DNA Lounge, she was using what looked to be a Fender Jaguar). She of course used to call SF home and lead and played in a trio of brilliant bands (Silver Shadows / Part-Human / Humid) whom I watched and enjoyed many many times. Us SF folk tend to be very prejudicial about So. Cal in general, but if anyone can help to grace Los(t) Angeles with her presence, even a little tiny bit, she can. She has a new group called Mirror Of Venus that have an absolutely awesome song called "Never Say Forever": • Never Say Forever - Mirror of Venus
