Spicy tuna rice This tuna rice is easy to make, flavourful and spicy - quick lunch or dinner with leftover cooked rice. Ingredients 3 cups cooked rice 2 tablespoons oil 1 cup green onions chopped 5 garlic cloves 1 onion chopped 1 green bell pepper chopped 2 cans of tuna, drained (120 grams each ) Salt as needed For the Sauce 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon lime juice 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1 teaspoon black pepper powder Preparation Step 1. In a bowl add all the ingredients for the sauce. Stir until thoroughly blended and keep aside (hot sauce or more chilli powder can be added to increase the spice level). Step 2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add the chopped garlic and onion. Sauté until the onion is tender. Add in the chopped green onions and bell pepper. Sauté for 2 to 3 minutes. Add 2 cans of Tuna drained ,breaking up the chunks using a spoon. Stir well and add the prepared sauce to this mixture.Mix well until thoroughly combined. Stir in the cooked rice and mix well . Turn off the heat and let the rice sit for five minutes. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve. Note: Measurements can be varied according to your spice level. Hot chilli sauce or Sriracha sauce can be added to increase the spice level.
