In hindsight, this episode showed so much of Tony's personality. His interactions with JR are as if he was a father figure as he was growing up, but then he easily backstabs and manipulates him. He does the same with calling Carmela his life, but betrays her over and over again. How tragic it was seeing her get manipulated by her religion, guilted into thinking it was her fault he cheats. The epiphany towards the end that he fell in love with Melfi because of the person she HAS to portray herself as was diabolical. I loved it so much lol As always, I could write an essay about this episode with how well they wrote it. Let me know what you think!
