Thor says 8 years whilst Jane says 3 and this is because the former wasn't snapped whilst the latter was. Those that got dusted disappeared for 5 years so that's why Jane thinks it's 3 whilst Thor thinks it's 8. There's also a really cool detail when Jane goes to see the pieces of Mlojnir. We can see them in a glass case surrounded by grass and in the background you can also catch a rock. This is the same one that Odin died at showing that the pieces remained in place where they were destroyed in Ragnarok and they actually dug this ground up around them in order to make the display. We also see the Kronan God that sits on a throne of scissors, not only a nod to Game Of Thrones but also because rock beats scissors. Lastly Korg ends up falling in love with another Kronan called Dwayne as in Dwayne the Rock.
