Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! was developed by Rare and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It was released in November 1996 in North America and Japan, and on 13 December in Europe and Australia and re-released for the Game Boy Advance (GBA) in 2005. The game serves as a sequel to Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. Based on what I have read about this game, it seems that it got good reviews from critics at the time, but it seems gamers hold a different opinion. This game was also released at the end of the SNES lifecycle with the Nintendo 64 having been released in June of 1996. That being said, I still don't think that should impact it that much as the N64 was still new and probably kids would have to wait until Christmas to get their hands on it. So, DKC3 was still viable in my honest opinion as a tie over and not a game that was released to be forgotten about. Back of the Box: Monkey Mayhem Lives On! Kiddy Kong is a portly primate toddler with incredible power and agility! He teams up with Dixie Kong to stop the ever-present army of Kremlings. The game play and ACM graphics just keep getting better in the visually stunning installment in one of the most popular video game series of all time! Combining their unique abilities as they throw each other into action, Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong set off to rescue Diddy Kong and Donkey Kong. Collect tons of treasure, grab billions of bananas and find more secret stuff than you've ever seen (or not seen) as you set off on the greatest DKC adventure yet! The final showdown with KAOS takes place in a cliff-top laboratory at the End of the World. It could get seriously ugly. Monkey mayhem lives on in this exotic island adventure! Gorilla-sized ACM graphics fill the screen with unparalleled style! Brand new heroes and familiar favorites team up against unfriendly foes for an all-new challenge and all-new fun! Tons of hidden areas, treacherous traps, awesome vehicles and outrageous items! Play as Dixie Kong or Kiddy Kong and take advantage of their unique abilities! Battery-backed memory saves the progress of your adventure. Well, let's see if this game hold up to the rest of the series. DKC2 so far was pretty difficult and frustrating at times, however it was an overall step up from DKC1 and a lot of fun. So lets go rescue Donkey and Diddy!! Don't care for my videos??
