These are the senses brought to mind and embodied by RUMAHOY, the greatest pirate metal band in all of Scotland. Formed in the ancient highland fishing village of Auchtermuchty, Rumahoy first began in 2010 when vocalist Captain Yarrface was experimenting with the musical heritage of his ancestors. He quickly formed a full lineup for the band drawn from diverse parts of the country, with hand-picked members chosen for their historical ideology and heritage traits. They released one song to their underground scene later that year, entitled "Blackbeards Lost Treasure". Blending elements of heritagecore with folk music and crushing death metal, the song became an instant classic among the true underground visionaries of the Scottish scene. Now in 2012, Rumahoy has returned with a full-length 4 track demo, which promises to stir the heartstrings and fill the listener with desire for the days of piracy and heritage.
