All the six people trapped under the collapsed roof of a restaurant were pulled out safely on Tuesday in Pizhou City, east China's Jiangsu Province. The restaurant roof suddenly caved in at about 12:02, burying five diners and a chef underneath. Local fire department immediately sent 15 firefighters and three fire engines to the site and pulled out all the trapped people in half an hour. According to a man who was dining there when the accident happened, the collapsed roof was under construction. The roof was made of foam boards according to the restaurant owner. The boards were weighed down when cement was used to reinforce it. "Some people were dining inside, and the roof suddenly caved in when cement was being poured," said the restaurant owner.
