Halloween Party Shooting: 4 Dead, At Least 4 Others Injured

Four people were killed and at least four others were injured in a Halloween night shooting at a house party in Orinda, according to authorities. The shooting happened around 10:50 p.m. Thursday at a home located along the 100 block of Lucille Way, the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office said. Witnesses at the scene told NBC Bay Area that the shooting happened during a Halloween party at an Airbnb rental. The renters said they wanted to get out of the Kincade Fire zone in Sonoma County because they had a family member who suffers from asthma. But a party unfolded and more than 100 people showed up, according to the sheriff's office.
