A tribute to Collarwali tigress | Eye of the Wilderness

Hello everyone and welcome back to Eye of the Wilderness. Pench Tiger Reserve, a jungle with 58 tigers. Among all tigers, one stood out and because of that she became the Legendary Queen of Pench. Collarwali the tigress. An unsual name for a tigress. Collarwali also known as T- 15 and Queen of Pench was a very famous tigress. She gave birth to 8 litters( group of cubs) in her lifetime. The total number of cubs she has had so far is 29!. Its a huge contribution to the wild population of bengal tigers. But unfortunately, Collarwali passed away at the age of 16. A tiger usually survives for 10-15 years in the wild. A particular tigress called Machli survived for around 20 years in the wild, that's a story for another day. May Collarwali's soul rest in peace.
