2. 04. A Kind of Magic (Highlander Version) This excellent version of the song is just awesome. The source was the 2011 bonus track included in the album deluxe remaster. I suppose this is a 2011 mix. It sounds really clean, but it got deeply affected by the compression and the final EQ, making it too muddy. In the HD revision of this song, the main point was to restore the depth in the drums and bass, that "rock" feeling, and clean a bit the muddiness. The drums have a lot more of body, the EQ was balanced to match the rest of the album, the toms have weight, now the explosive parts explode, and some volume differences were balanced in the main vocal track (ex. 1:31) and some effects can be heard better now (check the intro sounds).
