First Alarm Fire Rips Through Apartment Roof - May 25, 2022

Location: 4639 S 15th Ave - Phoenix Incident Date/Time: May 25, 2022 - 1:23 AM A fire erupted in an apartment just before 1:30AM after it was sparked in what was reportedly hoarding conditions. The owner attempted to put out the fire with a garden hose before neighbors physically removed the owner for their own safety out of the building. Phoenix Fire crews arrived on scene and began a offensive attack on the fire before the flames ripped through the roof causing an emergency alert for crews to evacuated the building and go on the defensive. The fire was knocked down after several hose lines were stretched. No injures were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
