RTC Exercise with EMAS and Nottingham Deaf Society

JOINT TRAINING EXERCISE WITH DEAF SOCIETY MEMBERS Today our crews, alongside our colleagues from East Midlands Ambulance Service , worked together with members of the Nottinghamshire Deaf Society at a training exercise aimed at testing and developing communications at a simulated road traffic collision. The exercise, held at Highfields Fire Station, saw volunteers who were deaf or hard of hearing act as casualties in a four-car collision. Damien West, Area Manager at NFRS who attended the exercise, said: “Thank you to all who attended this exercise today, including all the volunteers and interpreters from the Nottinghamshire Deaf Society. “It was great to work together, with lots learnt on all sides!” Music: Positive and Inspiring Ambient by Tiero https://motionarray.com/stock-music/p...
