"Dukes of Hazard" Opening with Vance and Coy (1982-1983)

This was the opening to The Dukes of Hazzard for the first 19 episodes of season five in which Bo & Luke Duke were replaced by Vance & Coy Duke (1982-1983). This was actually taped later during a re-run of the show. Considering how massively unpopular the replacement duo were, it's surprising they replayed those episodes. The Dukes of Hazzard was on the air for seven years, from 1979 to 1985. It had 147 episodes, only nine of which had this opening and starred Christopher Mayer as Vance and Byron Cherry as Coy. The rest of the cast for these episodes included Catherine Bach, Denver Pyle, Ben Jones, Sorreall Booke, James Best and Sonny Shroyer. Alao Waylon Jennings as The Balladeer.
