ISRO is all set to perform the second earth-bound manoeuvre of the Aditya-L1. This will push the spacecraft into a new orbit. India's maiden solar mission will stay in Earth's orbit for 16 days. After four months, it will be placed on the L1 point in the halo orbit around the sun. The Director of Space Applications Centre (ISRO), Nilesh Desai, stated the Aditya-L1 will send data to Earth for the next five years.
