GOOD TROUBLE Season 5 Release - 2023 on Freeform. Is Maia Mitchell Coming Back as Callie Foster?!

Hey, guys! As you are still digesting the season finale, we are happy to let you know that Good Trouble Season 5 has been officially confirmed by the Freeform channel. The Season 5 renewal was announced on August 2nd, just five episodes before the Season 4 wrapped up on September 1. The main question for Season 5 is whether we’ll see Maia Mitchell back as Callie Foster. Mitchell left Good Trouble in Episode 2 of the fourth season, having played her character Callie for NINE years since the show The Fosters premiered in 2013. Maia said she had to quit the show in order to go back to her native Australia and spend time with her family, which she hadn’t see for more than two years due to Covid. So, we feel that it is still very possible that Callie might be back. Joanna Johnson, the show’s creator and showrunner, also gave fans hope by saying “I don’t think it’s the last we’ll ever see of Callie. Callie’s journey is happening off camera, but we’ll catch up with her.” Meanwhile, the show’s focus is on Isabella and Gael’s adoption drama, Malika’s career troubles and Davia finally meeting someone with whom she clicked.
