Special attacks was once a weapon every player used whether during combat training, player versus player battle, or even boss slaying, these weapons were the ideal choice for better damage that is until evolution of combat came and pretty much outclassed special attacks. Thankfully, legacy combat is still an option. Note The three threshold abilities used for melee were assault, destroy, and slaughter. For range I used snap shot, rapid fire, and tight bindings. As for magic I used asphyxiate, deep impact, and wild magic. When I mentioned using three threshold abilities I meant only rotating between those three and no other thresholds. True the damage could be higher with tendrils ability, but this test was mainly to see the difference between evolution of combat and legacy with special attacks. I would also like to mention this video was made prior to the update of dragon mace and long sword special attacks receiving a buff in one of the patch notes though the main point for special attacks still remains the same.
