Maharashtra Coronavirus Surge | Dual Mutant Indian Variant Behind Big Spike?

Maharashtra reported the highest number of daily Covid-19 cases in any state since the beginning of the pandemic on Wednesday ( March 24). The state reported 31,855 new Covid-19 cases and 95 deaths, while 15,098 patients were also discharged following recovery. The state also has 2,47,299 active cases as of Wednesday. The health ministry has confirmed that dual mutation of coronavirus found in country, especially Maharashtra could be possible reason behind the 17% rise in the Covid-19 cases.
