7 Veils bellydance - Goddess Night August 2015 - Meredith

My personal interpretation of a 7 veils dance and my first attempt at 7 veils all at once! Lol not exactly as planned... I got terribly sick that day. Nearly cancelled but decided to just take it easier than I planned originally. There's definitely less energy and cool moves than in the practice runs but oh well, guess I'll have to perform it again sometime ^_^. So grateful to Kate for filming for me! My bf warned me that all the veils draped like that made me look a bit frumpy. There's got to be a smarter way to do it! Filmed at one of Najia's monthly Goddess Nights, at my request. Thanks again to Kate for filming for me! I highly recommend recording yourself - it's helped me see a lot of things I couldn't see from just looking in a mirror. Thankfully, she'll be teaching me better ways to handle multiple veils someday. The song is Inner Universe by Yoko Kanno featuring Origa and Ben Del Maestro.
