HARWICH ACCIDENT RECON SCENE: One reportedly ejected after car slams into tree... one patient airlifted, another transported via ambulance... [HN VIDEO] HARWICH – [DEVELOPING] – The following HN Video shows an accident reconstruction team working the scene of a serious single car crash in Harwich early this morning. The crash happened sometime after midnight on Great Western Road, a short distance over the town line from Dennis. According to sources, one person was reportedly ejected from the vehicle after impact. There were a total of two occupants/patients. One patient was airlifted from Barnstable Municipal Airport in Hyannis shortly after 1:00 a.m.. The second patient was transported to hospital via ambulance. HN arrived on scene shortly after 1:15 a.m., accident reconstruction experts were on scene until about 3:15 a.m.. The investigation into the crash scene was active and ongoing at the time of this report. There were no official details regarding the circumstances or the condition of the patients.
