I Made World of Warcraft DUAL-SCREEN (AYN Thor)

I made World of Warcraft DUAL-SCREEN on a handheld. 🐉📱 Top screen = pure game, zero UI. Bottom screen = all my action bars + minimap. Like a Nintendo DS version of WoW… and it's stupid clean to play. I posted this on the WoW subreddit and it blew up — everybody asked the same thing: how the hell did you do that? So here's the whole thing, start to finish. This is retail WoW streamed from my PC to the AYN Thor — NOT running locally. The secret sauce is two parts: clone the streaming app so each screen gets its own zoomable stream, then split the game window in WoW itself and shove all the UI onto the black half. Top screen crops to the game, bottom screen crops to the UI. That's the whole illusion. 🤯 ⚠️ Not a full step-by-step tutorial — it's technical and took me a lot of 4am trial-and-error — but if you understand the 4 ideas in here, you can build it. Want a deep-dive on any one piece? Drop it in the comments and I'll make a part 2 on whatever you guys want most. 👇 ⏱️ CHAPTERS 0:00 This is WoW on two screens (and it's real) 0:20 What you're actually looking at — the AYN Thor 0:57 The core idea (why this isn't a click-by-click tutorial) 1:20 Streaming from my PC — Steam Link & Moonlight both failed ❌ 1:55 The fix: Artemis (the Moonlight fork that zooms) ✅ 2:25 The 2AM trick — cloning Artemis into "Artemis 2" 2:45 One shortcut that launches both screens 3:12 How the streaming side works (full breakdown) 3:26 The WoW side — where the real magic happens 4:07 My custom Lua add-on — the 45% / 55% split 4:30 ConsolePort + Kefa's UI (controller keybinds) 4:53 Why it's not a full tutorial (Cocoon, recompiling, etc.) 5:19 The EASY version anyone can try 6:00 Outro 🛠️ THE STACK / GEAR • Handheld: AYN Thor (dual-screen Android) • PC host: Arch Linux + Hyprland • Streaming client: Artemis (Moonlight fork — cloned into Artemis 1 + Artemis 2) • App cloning/recompile: Cocoon • WoW split: my own custom Lua add-on (~45% black UI zone / 55% game) • Controls: ConsolePort + Kefa's UI keybinds • Game: World of Warcraft (retail) 💬 Gear questions? I'll pin a comment. If you want my WoW split add-on, say so below and I'll figure out how to share it.
