PHILIP INVITES NATHANAEL --- John 1:45-46 3. JESUS AND NATHANAEL –John 1:47-51 TODAY'S AIM Facts: to discover that God does not hide His identity. Principle: to realize that Gd reveals Himself in various ways. Application: to think about how God has revealed Himself to us. DEVELOPING THE LESSON 1. Philip invites Nathanael to meet Jesus (John 1:43-46) 2. Jesus knows Nathanael actions (john 1:47-48) 3. Jesus is acknowledged as deity and royalty (John 1:49-51) CONCLUDING THE LESSON Lt us try to live each moment knowing that God sees every detail of our lives. He knows what we are doing. He knows where we are. This can be comforting but also convicting. Holy living is part of being a child of God. If we are not careful, we may find ourselves in situations where the temptation of sin is strong. Let us therefore acknowledge Jesus for who He is: the Son of God ND King of the universe. He has proven this time and time again. But even if there are situations in which this is not obvious, it is still true. ++++++++++++=============================================================+++++++
