Macadamia oil bar soap experiment - big surprise!

Macadamia oil is a great addition in your soap making arsenal, especially if it is a bit more affordable than other exotic oils in your region. But is it worth the while to soap with it? According to a soaping calculator (I used Soapee), a 100% macadamia oil bar will produce a bar of soap which is way under the recommended percentage (only 14%) for its hardness. I was wondering whether I was going to have to scoop the soap out of the mould if I tried this! So I decided to do a 72% macadamia oil bar, add coconut oil to it (to change the numbers to an acceptable 37% hardness) and do a comparison between the soap. This video is educational, but it is not necessarily instructional. Soap making need your full attention and you have to use protective wear if you want to make soap. I cannot take responsibility for your mistakes. Educate yourself on all safety procedures before you make your own soap, please!
