Part 1- Exploring San Haven Sanitorium 2020

While traveling through North Dakota, I had to stop and explore this amazing location. San Haven Sanitorium was built in 1912 and will soon be demolished. I'm glad I got to see it before it's gone. In part one, I explore the main building which is huge and lots to see. In part two, I explore the haunted basement of the main building and surrounding buildings and grounds. Creepy!!! Hey everyone! My name is Debbie and I travel with my loving dog Penny, a six year old Chihuahua mix. I have a 2012 Chevy Express 2500 van I bought and converted myself in 2019. The purpose of my travel is to reconnect with myself away from the influences of the constant go, go, go of city life. Once upon a time I had time to draw, do photography and never cared what anyone though of my red tennis shoes. Somehow those things get lost over the years and we wake up and wonder where that person went. I’ve decided to go on a walk-about and find places that charge my soul and remind me who I am. Hopefully I can find a nice piece of land somewhere to purchase and use as a home base. I have been of service to those around me for many years and have drained my battery. They say you can’t help others if you have nothing left to give. It’s amazing how healing nature is.
