REFUTING Bible Contradiction #1: Jesus' Birth Narratives, Herod and Quirinius

Skeptics often claim that the Bible contains contradictions, yet every time we investigate, we discover that there are no provable contradictions in the Bible. In this case, I examine the accounts of Jesus' birth in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. I look specifically at the dating of Quirinius' census and Herod's death. Findings confirm what scholar William Ramsay said of Luke after studying the region of the ancient near east: he's a top notch historian!
