valve index controller tracking loss with vibration

In the video, I move my controllers over the pockets with the bullets in them which give a small haptic click. The right controller moves smoothly when vibrating, but the left one jitters until it jitters so much it disappears. It then reappears with no vibration for a few seconds, then disappears again as soon as vibration returns. When i look up, that is me turning off the haptics on my left controller; I do the same test and the controller doesn't lose any tracking. When i look up again, I turn the haptics back on and the left controller starts to jitter again. You can see at the end that the controller is still jittery as I stop recording.
