Test Statistic for the Chi-Square Goodness-of-Fit Test problem 1*

In this video, we demonstrate how to calculate the chi-square test statistic for a goodness-of-fit test. In this example, we are testing a hypothesis that that a set of proportions fit a hypothesized set of values. We perform the calculations without the use of software, but the calculation is done with a better than average calculator. The TI-30x IIs is an inexpensive calculator that can accomplish the same calculation as easily as my graphing calculator without the hefty price.
