Is Bowser Toss against a Very Hard CPU in Mario Party 3 actually impossible?

I have been chillin' on iateyourpie's stream during his MP3 gauntlet challenge when I heard him and a few members of his chat that this was literally impossible and that they cheated. "Video or I don't believe you." It took me a while to do since I had issues with either my Dazzle capture card or OBS (and I didn't even manage to find the issue...), but no matter. It was important to me to do it on real hardware with an official controller to make it as authentic as possible. So, here you have it. Can it actually be done?
