Ukulele Skills: How to Find the Key of a Song

On the sister YouTube video for play alongs, I was asked how to find the key of a song--based on my own use of changing keys on "I Can't Help Falling in Love with You." I thought about this all day, and this video...about 20 minutes in length...is my best attempt at giving an answer while trying to establish what a key is, how chords work in a key, how to find the key, and how to change the key once you know what the key is, including using the circle of fifths for transposition. Trying to cover chords and keys in twenty minutes is sort of like putting a whole gallon of milk into a cereal bowl...most of the milk isn't going to make it into the bowl. That said, I tried to do my best to answer the question on a timely basis (the original question was posted 19 hours ago as the video is uploading), and I hope viewers find it helpful At the very least, the clip from Happy Gilmore should provide a laugh or two. (Incidentally, I forgot that Happy swears at the ball...so I cut that part out). heck out the Ukulele Video Play Along Podcast, where I talk about ukulele education and my own ukulele experiences.
