Running for the Soul: The Boston Marathon Where Winning Isn't Everything, It's Finishing That Counts

PERSEVERANCE IN THE WORLD AS WE'VE KNOWN IT - 1994...As old as the running of the Boston Marathon is it never gets old to the lovers of sports and endurance. Pick a year, any year, and a reporter can always find story upon story about fortitude, about challenge, about humility. The Boston Marathon is an iternational spectacle and still an everyman's dream. A dream locals, such as the members of the Greater Lowell Road Runners club, aspire to conquering year after year no matter how daunting the task.
